Out here in the west, the sun shines almost constantly. The skies are bright and blue and wide open. Which is nice. Mostly. Except, it gets a little old.
But it finally rained today! The whole day was gray, but not in an absence of color kind of way. It felt...comfortable. Anyway, the clouds were great and caught the light of sunset just right. It'll be back to sunny and clear tomorrow and we'll enjoy it all the more for today's touch of variety.

Beautiful light at sunset! Rainy days are rare enough in Utah to be an occasion to celebrate. I'm a transplant, too. After 20 years here, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
